Chocolate Protein Balls

protein balls


1 cup walnuts
1/2 cup cashews
1/2 cup sunflower seeds
1/2 cup Brazil nuts
1/2 cup cacao
1/2 cup rolled oats
75g dried dates
75g chocolate pea protein (approx 3 scoops- whey protein would probably work just as well)
37g shredded coconut


Blend everything (except the coconut) together. Add as much water as needed to make a sticky dough. Use a flat tablespoon measure to make each ball. Roll and dip in coconut. Keep in fridge or freezer (they keep really well in the freezer and are actually quite nice eaten frozen as well).

One chocolate protein ball is approximately 70 calories, 5g of fat, 4g of protein and 3g of carbohydrate.
